A Significant Life. Sara Pinkelman

“Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be.” Anna Mary Robertson Moses (Grandma Moses).

Life is what we make it, if we choose to make it meaningful and significant is our choice. Leading a significant life can be hard; we always think it means to live up to others expectations. What if we don’t do that, what if we live a significant life how we want to. We live in the moment; enjoy the progress that we gain in life and see the satisfaction in what we do. Having a significant life is to stand out and be remembered, not who we were but how we were in life.

I think of my grandpa a lot. He was a milk man back in the day. He was known around Cedar County and many people looked forward to seeing him. Yes he was delivering milk to them, but they loved talking to him and enjoyed his company. He had to work all day and almost all night; he didn’t do it for himself, he did it for others. He never gave up, he chose to live a significant life and I will always look up to him for that.
